World Mental Health Day at Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Donegal

World Mental Health Day takes place across the globe on Monday 10 October. The theme of World Mental Health Day 2022 is to “Make Mental Health & Wellbeing a Global Priority for all".

 

Atlantic Technological University will host a series of events across the ATU campuses during this event. Sharon Ferguson, Mental Health & Wellbeing Officer at ATU Donegal commented “we look forward to embracing this day by celebrating inclusivity & diversity across the university with support of community partners within the region including Social Prescribing Donegal, Our Generation Project, Donegal Local Development Company (DLDC), Connecting for Life Donegal, Mental Health Ireland, HSE Health Promotion and the Donegal Mental Health Services”.

 

The event will include a series of on-campus activities starting at 10am on Monday 10th October. The event is open to students, staff, and members of the public and promises to be an engaging event in the academic calendar.

 

ATU Donegal World Mental Health Day Event Schedule:

 

10am: World Mental Health Day launch – David Friel, ATU Donegal Music & Dance Society will launch the events on campus

10am - 2pm: Information Stands on display on the main campus corridor, showcasing the internal and external resources available to students living and studying in Donegal

10.30am -2pm: ‘188bet体育_188bet亚洲体育备用-投注*平台 Wall’ will come to life and provides an opportunity for students to share their Mental Health & Wellbeing priorities

2pm -3pm: ‘Our Generation Project’ in partnership with 188bet体育_188bet亚洲体育备用-投注*平台s Union will take place in the An Dánlann and will include a workshops
